Application Review
The information provided on the Applicant Profile and Applicant Information forms is considered confidential and will be shared only with the organizers of the 2009 National HIV Prevention Conference for the purpose of reviewing and selecting Sponsored Participants. All essays will be reviewed and scored by two reviewers. Reviewers will not have access to Applicant Profile and Applicant Information form data. Sponsored Participant applicants will be notified by April 10, 2009, of the results of their sponsorship application submissions.
In an effort to further accommodate those applicants who do not receive sponsorship, the Registration Coordinator will accept registrations from those applicants not selected as a Sponsored Participant at the lower registration fee of $350. The total number of sponsorships available for the 2009 NHPC has not yet been determined, but will be limited. Therefore, all applicants are strongly encouraged to seek funding from other sources in addition to applying for a sponsorship.
